When I did my visa run to Japan, I bought a Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000. It is the worlds first PDA with a 4 gb hard drive, 640 x 480 resolution and it runs Linux. It is in a clamshell case and a full tactile keyboard.

It is only sold in Japan, and, it is entirely in Japanese. But before I bought it, I did determine that it could be converted to English. So, when I got back to Korea, I converted it to English...but here is the problem...

It won't sync with my PC...I can transfer programs via compact flash or SD, but not directly via USB.

Does anyone else have a Zaurus, and have you had/overcome this problem?

Ahhhh...finally got it to sync with English!...if any of you have the Zaurus, go here for instructions on how to do so as well as downloading opensource files and programs for use in a PDA-Linux environment:
