I looked at Shakuhachi's site and it turns out that I already use most of those 'tactics' though with a number of differences:

-There's a bit there about pretending to know somebody in the industry they're working in. I usually either already know someone or I'll actually be interested, as I'm curious about just about everything.
-Never ask about the boyfriend, never talk about him. That's the same. There's no benefit from asking first.
-If things aren't going too well, give it a few weeks and start over. That's a good thing I've learned, and has a lot to do with non-attachment. I could never do that before but then I realized that thinking about someone while they were clearly busy with other things is a bit of a waste of time.
-Pretend to be busy. I actually am busy, and don't want to spend all my free time on dates. Maybe that makes me look more attractive, who knows. Dates take time though, and I like to be alone 50% of the time.

Double bragging is risky too, especially with canuckistani cops lurking.

Neuro-linguistic programming (which is what this is) is a vastly under-researched area (despite all the 'wonderful' management and seduction books / sites out there about it).

It's powerful but I hate the way it's pushed (including on sites like the one above). They are techniques, and if they get you what you want then that's a moral judgement that you have made. For me, I'm happy not using them, and not always getting sex (I get enough to keep me happy, generally speaking - I'm not that interested in casual sex anyway).

Go googling for NLP if you want to learn more about the general theory behind it.

I see nothing about gender in the thread title. .

This thread is so damned depressing. And realistic.
