Line 2. The light green line. The older of the green lines. Get off at Gangbyeon (east bus terminal). You can't miss it. It's a big 10 floor building. Follow the signs for the exit.

One of the exits out the North end of Gangbyeon (it's not a big station) has an escalator going down underground. Take that, and you'll end up in the basement of TM.

What I like to do from there is then take the first set of escalators up. That puts you outside again, at the main doors. But it's better than trying to push your way through the household goods basement floor. And sometimes there's some bizarre thing going on outside, complete with your Korean b-girls in plastic miniskirts. Not the worst eventuality.

As well, I used a bit of muscle and open one of the side doors between the station and the technomart basement instead of trying to shove my way with every other idiot into a set of revolving doors...

Clearly I go there during peak times.
