Yeah, you never answered the question:
"Do you like sex with Korean girl?"
Don't leave us in suspense. |

What do you do if someone calls when you're watching a movie?

Exactly! Especially if its during that scene where Clint is on the blower with Morgan. How can you differentiate a movie ring from a handphone ring??
What an age we live in? Pffft

Yeah, I watch movies on it. Technically, they don't tell you how to do it, but I played around with the files and sort of taught myself how. I take a movie I downloaded from the net and shrink the size and set it to certain parameters with a free program I found online. My phone reads MPEG4 files, but only if they're 176x144 and the audio is coded a certain way. Actually, it's an LG phone, and the LG files have their own .kg3 extention. But after fooling with the files, I learned that they are merely .mp4 files in reality. So my phone will read .mp4 if they are sized properly.
The crucial thing is to get a phone that has a removable card, and have an adaptor that allows you to transfer stuff onto it with your computer. I bought a 1 Gig removable Mini-SD memory card (130,000) and can save about 4 full movies on it. Or a few movies and lots of .mp3s.
The video runs at around up to 20 - 25 frames per second if you set the frame rate that high. That's just a guess. One movie takes about one battery if I have the LCD set to 60% (It's a pretty bright LCD anyway).
I bought my phone online for only 300,000 plus 50,000 won sign-up fee.
The model number is LG-LP3400P
(Note that SK sells the same model WITHOUT the memory card option.. which sucks not to get, in my opinion, even though their phone costs less).
Oh, yeah, if someone calls, you, it interrupts the movie. And you lose your place in the movie (sux). That's why I've learned to split my movie into 2 or 3 files, since you have to go back and fast-forward (slowly) through the movie to get back to where you left off.
I'm sort of stretching the limits of what it's meant to do, so that's why you have to do it that way.
Samsung makes that really expensive phone where the screen rotates diagonally, and that would be awesome for watching movies with (much larger size screen then) but I couldn't find one with a removable card -- not yet, anyway.
It is kind of fun to sit next to those "show off" people on the subway that spent nearly 800,000+ on the hottest new phone, and they stare at my phone and scratch their head, trying to figure out why they can't watch movies like my phone does. |

Hmmm....You said that people on the subway were leaning over to listen to your convo....unless the majority of the people on the subway were foreigners(which I doubt)...I doubt that most people could even understand what you were saying......let alone try to listen....they may have been looking over thinking boy he is an embarrassment to Koreans...or why is he talking to that smelly waygook?
To deter would be English students...I always have my headphones on even if I am not listening to anything(this often works well)....if they attempt to talk while they are on, I pretend I cannot hear them. Problem solved. |

In Seoul, maybe, but in Bundang a lot of people are upper-class and understand a lot more English than you think. |

Woah, did you guys know Derrek has a Korean girlfriend? Maybe some of you missed the 10,000 posts where he mentions this fact. After this post and the "Where do you buy couple rings" post, I wonder what clever ways he'll let us know next. Expect these exciting threads to follow soon:
1. Where can I find a good gift to buy My Korean Girlfriend?
2. What is the quickest subway route to My Korean Girlfriend?
4. Is My Korean Girlfriend being sincere when she tells me that I'm like a fiery steed of love galloping across her verdant fields of tenderness, or is she just being polite?
5. Jealous waiter being stingy with the moist towlettes because of My Korean Girlfriend
6. My Korean Girlfriend. She exists. |

My Korean sucks and I usually try to lean over and hear what Koreans are saying. So yeah, I bet people were trying to decipher what was being said. Mostly likely everybody walked away with a different idea of what the conversation was about.

The last time I was bothered (bothered to the point of being pissed off, I mean) by someone on the subway, was the Jesus Freak who needed to save me (why is it always the cute ones?).
JF: Do you know Jesus?
BY: I don't know. What's his last name? (joke went whoosh)
JF: You must believe Jesus, and go Heaven.
BY: Are you going to Heaven?
JF: Yes.
BY: Then no thank you (go back to my book)
JF: Let's pray Jesus now.
BY: (not even looking up from my book) No, thank you.
JF: You must go Heaven.
BY: Not interested.
JF: Don't read bad book. Read Bible.
BY: Bible jeh-me-up-so-yo. Bad book jeh-me-isso-yo.
JF: Here Bible for you.
BY: (continuing to read while pantomiming a sock puppet) Blah blah blah blah blah blah...
JF: (saying something I can't hear)
BY: ...blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...
JF: (continuing to speak until finally giving up)
BY: Good, now go away.
JF: I pray Jesus to you.
BY: You are not going away.
JF: (standing silently on the other side of car shaking her head)
I finally got her to leave me alone by taking her around to the Koreans on the car and telling her that Korean people need to be saved, too. She didn't want to talk to the other Koreans for some reason, though.
You know, I'm all for religion, if that's your thing. But if I say "no thank you" I expect it to end there. You do your thing, I do mine, and happiness will reign.

And don't forget that one post:
"Where can i find the book 'How to seduce your Korean girlfriend' so that I can seduce my Korean girlfriend on our 2 month anniversay which just so happens to mark the day when i first went on a date with my Korean girlfriend? (except at that time she wasn't my Korean girlfriend. It was after a few dates when i asked if she wanted to be my Korean girlfriend when she agreed to officially become my Korean girlfriend)"
Maybe you missed that one
