				| I have windows 98 on my work computer...english edition....
but when I am not here working(like on Saturdays)....people have been going on my computer. I don't like that!

How do I make it so that when its turned on it prompts the user for an username and password??

				| You need to enter the Bios to do that. I think you press the DEL key as the cpu boots up.
Or you could set a password on your screen saver (on after 1 minute ofm inactivity) and work it that way.

You could do the screensaver thing but that is easily bypassed when the user reboots the machine and continues on their way.

It would be better for you to put a network password on your computer.
