If you are in Seoul, I would recommend either the Red Door in Itaewon or Hanam Supermarket. Both of these places have been discussed at length on this site; use the search engine for more information. If you are not in or near Seoul, well, I don't know where you should look.

The Body Shop chain stores carry a limited selection of antiperspirants and deodorants.

However, your best bet is to beg someone back in your home country to ship you out a box of the stuff.

Carrefour, Lottemart, etc. Olive Young typically has some too. It's usually spray on and it's expensive (8,000 won). Some Olive Young places have stick too.

The import market in Namdaemun Market (it's underground, and I can't remember the directions exactly so that's not much help Wink ) is also a good place to find the stuff.

A few of the little shops in Kangnam Station have the regular American stuff.

I watching my Degree pit-stick get lower and lower. I'm due for a trip to the Red Door soon. And get some real Doritos, too. Smile

On another note, I'm actually quite surprised that there are not a lot more QA threads on looking for deoderant. Confused

Ah, that might be because all the other threads asking "what should I bring" scream "bring deodorant!!!" Laughing

It doesn't seem to be as hard to find as it was before, you'll often see it in some large supermarket / department store chains like Emart, LotteMart etc.
Black Market in Songtan blows Red Door out of the water, and it seems to be in just about every undercover shop close to the airbase.

There's a little black market in Shinchon that carries it. Go out exit 8 and walk about 50 meters, you'll see a shoddy looking warehouse-like building with Quaker Oats, Kool-Aid, and other American products in the window. They have a lot of stuff that fell off the truck from the PX, including antiperspirant.

Check out http://www.expatexpress.com/ . Stuff isn't cheap (prices are based on weight due to shipping costs), but you can get pretty much anything you need or want delivered to your door within a week.

That's where I pick it up. Pretty cheap, too, relatively speaking. Last bar was 3,000 won.

There's also these home supply stores that I never knew about until recently that also carry goods. They've got a bunch of silly house knick-knacks in the front, but in the back some of them may have some choice Western products, like Nyquil and such. I know of two shops with stuff available, but one is in Anyang and the other is at Sunae Station. Still, if you see one of these shops in your neighborhood, pop in for a glance.

Some cosmetics stores also carry the Nivea Men's line. It's pretty good, but the same stuff is a dollar in the Philippines. That's where I get mine.
