How long does it take to recieve the visa from the london embassy?? I heard 5 working days (after receiving the blue application form). Thats seems far too long as it took only a few hours to process in Japan.

They're slow. It can take more than 5 days. They're also rude. Once you get the visa out of them tell them they're ugly and they smell.

That's crazy. Takes 30 minutes max at the consulate in San Francisco, and as you said, only a few hours in Japan (well Osaka at least). What the hell are they doing in London??

Probably the same thing they're doing everywhere else in London. Not a lot at all.

Yeah, for some reason the London Korean Embassy is slow.

I've just sent off my documents to Korea for them to sort out the paperwork. Do I just take the paperwork when I receive it to the embassy in London - are there any applications forms that I need and could be getting from them in the meantime? I too did not realise it took 5 days in london and would need to get my visa processed asap to catch my flight on time. Is there any way of speeding it up? Pay express fee or get school to phone? Any advice appreciated.
