Yup, a friend got a call from a budongsan guy yesterday, too. Same hours. 20 hrs in all. No water tomorrow night. Yuck. Beats...Manila. Sorta.

As the Mayor of Haebangcheon, I feel that it is my responsibility to inform my constituents of this unavoidable happenstance. We will resume service shortly. Carry on.

How do the restaurants function without water? Seriously, will the dishes be clean?

Yeah my apartment put up a notice but it's in Korean. Luckily my GF was over a couple days before and mentioned it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, fill up juice/milk jugs with water and throw them under your sink. Once or twice a year most people lose water service for the good part of a day. If you have 10 liters of water on hand, you'll make it. It's interesting how much water you actually use during the day when you do this. I mean consider a single toilet flush uses 1 liter of water. How many times do you use the toilet in your apartment each day without even thinking? And then there's water for cooking, washing...
