This is off the subject, but the second largest city in Bolivia is Cochabamba.
The correct Spanish word for a person from Cochabamba is cochabambeo.
But the slang word is cochabambino. That's an interlingual pun on bambino, the Italian word for "baby."
Isn't that cute?

The question arose again independently, I figured if the answer were anywhere it would be on Dave's, so I searched, the results came back, I saw a thread title that was promising, and guess who started it three years ago? MARLOW! Ahhh! I surprised myself.
