I broke up with this Korean gal after a few weeks because... er... she gave me a very special gift... er... shingles. (Got your attention, didn't it?! This is true!)

I confronted her and she told me that it couldn't have been her because she was such a nice girl and didn't sleep around and that maybe I got it from another girl. (Being new in Korea, I hadn't been with anyone for a long time.) I told her that I didn't care if she slept around; she had a mild and very treatable condition and that she should be careful not to spread it like this. She wouldn't admit it, so I dumped her faster than she could blink. Then I went to a doctor. It is the funniest story for another day.

No, it's not. Maybe I'm confused with the names. One finds minute bloodsuckers around one's pubic hair. A use of a special cream gets rid of it fast.

Sorry guys, if I grossed anyone out.

Parents freaked when they found out. But in the end we just weren't that into eachother.

Cross cultural relatinships are far too much work for someone you just want to play hide the hobbit with.

Personally I think people put way too many romantic projections on to the intial few dates and then get their arse handed to them at the first sign of trouble. Perhaps it's not always best not to get too involved with anyone especially here.

I think it depends on the involvement.

Does she want to marry or just 'bounce' on your knee?

There are sex relationships that are pretty much immunne to emotions (you both know what you want), and there are quick 'burn up' relationships, in which the girl falls in love and wants to marry within a few weeks....if that's what you like...but they usually burn up and out.
