that you can make with a watercooler and no dishes:
Go to the grocery store and get
- a spaghetti ramen - the kind where you pour off the water and then add the sauce packet (600)
- a small can of - it's hunks of beef boiled down in soy sauce (1000) it should be on the shelf with the tuna
- some processed cheese (2000 for a dozen)
Leave the plastic wrap on the ramen. While it's cooking, stick a couple slices of cheese between the plastic wrap and foil lid. That way it will warm up and turn gooey when you add it. Stack the cup on the beef too to warm it up a bit. If you want to get fancy, you can stick the can in a cup of hot water too.
When it's ready toss it all in including the soy sauce from the can.
It's tasty and hearty IMO. I chase it with a half dozen of those little yoghurt things and an apple to get my vitamins.
What else can you make with a watercooler? |

Omg... that sounds ok, if i wanted to dump about 1200 calories into my body in one meal.
Here's a great low calorie water cooler meal....
-one paper cup.
-fill it with boiling water
-put in a bag of green tea
and eat an orange or some strawberries.

The OP's idea sounds revolting. I think if Burger King made a triple Whopper with extra cheese and bacon, it would be halthier than that. |

Agraham- you live in Daegu? There are restaurant $3.00 lunches, not to mention great street eats, in Daegu.
Sorry everyone is giving you a bad time- but that is not a very healthy meal. |

Not too health. But man, give the guy some points for being creative at the cooler and for doing something different with ramen. |

Indeed. Not all of us see 'healthy' as the most important criteria for a meal. In saying that....The OP's recipie does sound disgusting!!! |

Good cheap meal is to get to Costco, buy the 1.5 kilo of smoked ham, slice it up into quarters and then again in half to thin out the slices (if you're being economical about it), and get some sandwich bread. Extremely cheap meal. You can go for broke and get a block of cheese or something, but I'm just happy to have a decent slice of meat for my sandwich. |

Korea has about eight million different types of tinned fish, most of which go swimmingly in ramen. |

Cheese ramen is a very popular food around here. You'll find it in every cafe. I don't think adding some beef is quite the sin some make it out to be.
That said, if someone presented me with prcessed cheese and beef in instant ramen a year ago I probly would have been grossed out too. |

We had a 21 course hanjeongshik the other day plus bori-bap and I was surprised when it only cost 3,000 won. Admittedly the only meat was the butt end of a small fish and a rather odd dish consisting of what seemed to be raw squid cubes with mayonnaise and several hard green peas. But it was a great deal with lots of tasty panchan, including several kinds of spring greens that I haven't normally seen.
This was in a small town in Kyeongbuk.

Want a good cheap 5000 won meal.
Go to any one of the franchised gimbap chains
Buy 1 Tuna(Chamchi) Gimbap cost 2000 won
Buy 1 Salad Gimbap 2000 won
Go to the supermarket/corner store
Buy 1 Vegetable Juice 1000 won
and there is an awesome and cheap lunch. |

Get a cup of ramen, preferrably . Next, take a slice of thick bread -- the kind they sell at 7-11 and such. Put a slice of processed cheese on the bread, fold it up, and once the boiled water has been added to the cup, tear off bits of cheese and bread and dump them in the cup. Finally, stir everything around a bit, cover the lid for 3 minutes and then enjoy. Food of the gods.
The OP's idea wouldn't be so bad were it not for the , which is quite the vomit-inducing taste.
And who the hell puts canned fish in ramen? That's almost as gross as covering a birthday cake with Vaseline instead of icing.

I've no experience of vaseline-covered cakes, so I can't refute your claim - but a tin of that spicy tuna added to one of the packets of hot ramen... mmm. |
