Hi all,

I had to hand my passport into Suwon immigration for one week while they sort out my Alien Registration Card. The problem is I need a photo id card with my name and picture on it in order to play football at Yongsan army base. I have a photocopy of my passport but this will not be enough on its own.

Does anybody know some place in Seoul where I can easily pick up a piece of photo id? It can be a store card, membership card, anything as long as it has my details and looks reasonably legit.

I am not looking for fake id just some sort of identification that I can get quickly and easily in order to prove my identity while I don't have my passport and ARC. And unfortunately I don't have a drivers licence with me either.

Costco id has a photo on it, but costs 30,00 for a year.

They should accept a driver's license (if you have one). Do you use your passport at Yongsan? Kunsan AB won't accept passports as ID to get on base (they were the ones that recommended that I give them a driver's license). Once you have your ARC, it will be sufficient.
