Anyone know where I can buy a scrabble board from in Seoul or Ilsan? |

I've seen them at most major book stores. Kyobo, Bandi and Luni, and Kim and Johnson's. they're around 30,000 or so. |

Not what youre asking but tangentially related -- I recently discovered a good online scrabble site. I've got a couple matches going at the moment with my brother & my son back in Canada. http://thepixiepit.co.uk/scrabble/ |

Wow!
You just missed the fifth annual World Scrabble International Championship in Chungju! Just last week we had a super play off! Next year make sure you plan to make it down for the competition - where - at the same time - we had a world Jenga championship.
Go to the Yahoo community groups for Chungju to learn more.
Scrabble, Scrabble, Scrabble!

RealArcade has an online, instant game where one plays a computer. It's 14 US $ to subscribe. |

Go to www.gamehouse.com and you can purchase and download the original game. It's great! |

Reasons I like http://thepixiepit.co.uk/scrabble/ -- its the original game, its got built-in dictionaries, & its completely free (unless you choose to donate).
I prefer the notion of a human opponent. Its easy to invite a friend to play or you can find new game partners there. Theres a box to banter back & forth between turns too. |

Yeah, it's a bit weird playing a computer. This RealArcade game is top quality. As fast as you can put a word up the computer has a response. And it follows the official scrabble dictionary. Playing the computer would leave out the human element which is how I grew up with scrabble. Family games.
Becoming a bit of a freak, really, who can play scrabble so well very few human opponent could stand a chance, eventually.
