hey, i'm wondering if anyone else from the dave's board managed to make it out for roger sanchez and steve lawler on sat. imho it was the worst party i've ever been in to. seriously, the music was shite, the venue was terrible and they weren't even selling water.
i'll never go to another 02productions event ever again. |

man it was an awesome party!!!
great venue!! I perfer that room than the other one cuz you can get way up closer to the djs, lawyer was wicked.. then SANCHEZ just rocked it a;ll night.. lisa, GTO and freak from the band were wicked too..
we had a great night.. how could you have thought the music sucked??
hahahahah princess perhaps the company you were with.. and the night for you just sucked! dont blame roger and the crew! they rocked!!
yes they didnt sell WATER which actually in my country is Illegal!!
and was probably their biggest mistake!

| yeah sanchez was wikid.... it was so great... he got into it with the crowd pretty good... and the music he played rocked... i think the venue coulda been better too but it was alot better than pete tong.... |

| I thought the band was kind of stupid. I just could not get into it. But after they got off Roger played a good set. This was my first time to see Lawler and he went off. Princess, what kind of music did you expect? Lawler and Sanchez played typical sets for them, if you don't like their style why did you go? That Mr. Roboto remix Lawler played was great. It's too bad you didn't like it, I had a great time. |

I am curious about this party. I don't know what he plays these days. I might have to go to this party just to see what he is playing. Do you know what he plays now. I know his CD are cheese city, but he could be totally different live. |

how was the volume and quality of the sound system? i went to an 02 production last year and i could have a conversation right in front of the speakers. also, the dancefloor was carpeted. any of this still a problem?? not selling water is a very bad idea.
re: boy george...
i have a few boy george tracks...and a few mixed CD's he produced from 2 years ago. some stuff he plays has been played to death, and cheesy, but there are some tracks that really freaked me out. really trippy baselines and mixed tempos.
i would go see him.

I think it really depends on his mood and the crowd.. he will probably take one look at the local djs. then he will see how Vedo preforms..
then he will realise this is a strictly Alcohol fueled event! so he will probably keep it Funky , sexy house with alot of vocals which he is really into.. but dont think BG cant throw down.. he can errupt on the decks if the crowd is asking for it.. |

Sanchez has gone downhill in the last few years....too house for my liking now.
However, 02 productions can put on a great show, it is Korea so you have to give the crew some credit. |
