In õ (sincheon, the one in the south) there's bar called Dokdo. The sign out front says, " 츮ΰ ??" ("you know Dokdo is our land, right?" ...a rhetorical question, I suppose) and inside there are a lot of lovely photographs of Rock A and Rock B or whatever they're called.
I suppose the owner changed the name of his bar to cash in on this little craze. Maybe six months ago it was called The Yankee Go Home Bar and Grill. |

I dont know. All this 츮̴ stuff sounds to me like they are trying to convince themselves of it. |

I am getting so f*cking sick of this squabble. I was at Kyobo bookstore in ȭ in the foreign books section. I am perusing some books and this Korean guy walks up to me asking for a donation. I ask "what for?" He says it's the "Save Foundation" or something like that. I told him "Absolutely not" and he left before I could find security. People aren't allowed to solicit money in the bookstore. I did give money to one of these guys once for Koreans who volunteer in Cambodia after he was booted out of the store, so I know this to be true. It was a worthy cause I felt.
Me giving money for ? Not a snowballs chance in hell. Where do they get off trying to solicit money from foreigners? My rant for the day... |

I asked my "B" level writing class if they wanted to write on Dokdo today, and they said, "NOOoooo!!!!!!"
I think the Koreans are getting sick of it, too... at least the average students. |

Good point. Now that I think about it, it does sound very insecure. |

I own some land on island B. I tried to purchase a spread on island A but the people over there are, well you know, A-holes. |

I ran into one of those characters twice at Youngpoong Sunday. The funny thing is, you watch them, and they only hit up whitey for donations. |
