Anyone want to check out Tokyo for that weekend? I can't, but wanted to pass this on for anyone who had the interest in it! You can leave on Friday and be back on Sunday.

Northwest has some damn cheap discounts sometimes!!

180,000 won from Busan, and 200,000 from Tokyo.

Travel period
Depart Korea between April 27 and 29, 2005
Return to Korea between May 1 and 7, 2005

E-Tickets only.

200,000 from Seoul to Tokyo... cannot beat that.

Have you been to Tokyo Tiger? Sounds interesting even if for a day. Maybe a bit more "wow" than OSaka?

Tiger, as well travelled as you are, do you think any place is as unique as japan? It seems to me like it may be one of the most unique countries out there.

Wow, that's even cheaper than the high speed train/boat combo.

Too bad I won't be there until August. I even have a good friend living in Tokyo.

Is Northwest the best airline for good deals, or does it vary?

I never heard of Northwest having deals through Korean Travel agents.. but I've been checking the website tonight.. and a few exist (usually its expensive though).

Here is another one!!

http://www.nwa.com/kr/en/travel/nwapr/pm0408200502464.shtml

Seoul (or Busan) TO HONOLULU. 400,000 won!! Or if two people, its 350,000 won each!!

Travel period
Depart Korea between April 8, 2005 and May 31, 2005.
Return travel must be completed within 30 days of outbound departure or by June 15, 2005, whichever is earlier.

Afterthought...

Does "more unique" make sense?

Or "most unique"...?

Seems to me Japan is totally unique, incomparable. Forget about it. That country has no relation to anywhere else.

Just my thought after several brief visits and otherwise.
