Hi,

I'm a graduating senior at college, and I'm looking for a good Korean language program for the summer. Date wise, I'm looking at Ewha, Yonsei, and Korea Universities summer terms. Sogang is NOT an option.

Any information comparing the merits of the three would be greatly appreciated...As for my level, I'm advanced intermediate in abilities...

Thanks in advance!

Yonsei. Get your good grammar points and do conversation in your out of class time anywhere you go in Korea... The KLI teachers are Yonsei all have a Masters or PhD in Korean language, Korean language teaching, linguistics, etc. and they have special training to teach to foreigners. The program is very scientific... it's great.

ehh...i think it might be too late to do yonsei's summer program.

i did the summer one last yr and the yr before and my school wanted applications by january, and yonsei wanted all of their bills paied by about may 15...

but then again, i could be wrong~

really, uhmm...going in the fall would probably be better.

i dunno if u kno korean or not, but the ppl i knew that went in fresh to the korean program came out with mixed feelings.

if u know some korean and are in a upper level class, the class is going to be ALL korean-americans, 100% not motivated to be there 100% stuck up attitudes. and the classes are taught IN korean, so if u have a grammar question they will answer in korean...

i can't really diss it too much, i mean i learned some stuff...
but the attitudes of the ppl around u make it much harder to learn...in my opinion.
