| I'm just passing this on a public-service announcement... Coca-cola is powerful medicine that can actually melt your skeleton from the inside. As long as you only drink it on the weekend it's OK; it's only if you drink it every day that it becomes dangerous. |

you really should check out the show 'Myth Busters" they checked out the coke "MYTH" and found it to be totally unfounded!

| I've been drinking about 2 liters of diet coke every day for longer than many of you have been on earth! Last year during my bi-annual physical, the doctor was AMAZED at my bone density...WAY on the high side! No osteoporosis for me! |

| Intaking too much caffeine can interfere with the body's intake of calcium. It's not just coke, but any caffeine containing product. However, I don't think a can of coke a day would really be sufficient, especially if your getting a decent amount of calcium (which the western diet usually contains). |
