Talk Talk Talk 1, Speaking Practice Textbook for Intermediate and Advanced Students. LIS Korea.
Good book for conversation as it has lots of questions in it that are relevant to teachers' age ranges.

| If some students speak better than others, as often or usually happens, at least the better ones can help make the class go better. The poorer ones know they aren't as able, but learn by listening. You can just make it simpler sometimes so the weaker ones can speak too. |

The problem I find in a lot of classes is that the best student becomes the class spokesperson, and all the conversation happens between me and him/her. When students can't say something in English he/she becomes the translator, and he/she gets ten times as much conversational practice with me than the ones who need it more. |
