Heralded by the sight of dancing girls, more scantily-clad than usual if I may say so, there appears to be a kebab place opened in downtown Daegu. Grotesquely drunk Westerners can now smear their bodies in kebab grease at 5am instead of passing out at the galbi restaurant near Bubble Bar.

I'm poor with directions, but the place is very well located. From the fountain/Bennigans in the Seattle's Best direction, you continue along that road and it is a corner shop on a junction, to the left. It is opposite that new red Korean restaurant, which I may also recommend for being surprisingly calm and peaceful.

Kebabs are 3000 Won. A real live Turkish man was outside the venue today and he may even be the owner.

Yes! I miss my Kebabs. When I was in Europe, they were my staple-after-1:00 meal. Nothing is better when drunken. Thanks for the directions, but if anyone else knows more exactly where it is, please post.

he's not the owner.
he can't be, as ihe is a foreigner. i met the owner and his wife in the food basement of Lotte Department store downtown. they had a little outlet there for a while. they made a killing, and probably still are.
at that time their sauce was a mix of ketchup and mayo. looks like it has graduated to a more authentic prototype at this new location.
tip, if you order one, tell them 'seogeum eobsoyo' or they will salt your kebab relentlessly.

Very Happy Nev, is that you?? Guess who. No, dont say my name out loud. I was with you at that Kebab shop saturday night and saw you eating one of their fine kebabs. You seemed to like it well enough. Wink Am I right in assuming that you are the Nev who loves the bleak landscapes of northern climes?

Ah, yes, hello "Polly". I've a fair guess as to who you are, as I'm sure you're not my brother. To my distress, and my brother's even moreso, the kebab place was closed at about 5am that evening, though that's about all I can remember of that stage in the night.
