The place is located on top of Jung-ang park. You have to walk the trails up the hill to get there. I just happened across it today. They have tons of workout machines and some free-weights outdoors -- mixed in with the pine trees. No roof. Pretty cool. I tried a few machines, and wondered if it was free or something. Saw a sign that said it's 20,000 won per month for women, and 30,000 for men.

I like those places but usually the weights are a joke. Doing the bench presses, I need to do 30 reps to even feel anything. Thats boring. Those places are good for old men.

Jeez, when I clicked thru I thought you meant that there were 50,000 ppl working out there. Confused This sounds worth checking out. Moving to Nowon-dong next month, so Bundang might be a stretch, though.

You're moving to Nowon?

I had a friend who worked up in that area, and another friend used to live up there. Quite a stretch from here, and the area is more poor, but I found a lot of the people seemed nicer than other areas of Seoul.

It's close if you've got a car, but that's about it. Confused

It's a cost saving move to bring my expenses down, as I have an expensive side project that I'm working on. It'll be weird being so close to mountains and parks for a change. I've already noticed the big difference in air quality compared to Gangnam. Smile
