They are probably monitoring the trash bags to be sure that people are using the proper bags for every item.

I live right near mapo station - last week, about 8 pm in the evening there were about 20 armed soldiers ( real deal, not riot police) surrounding the subway exits, a tank, fire truck and three ambulances, and the only one freaking out was me....lol

Turns out it was some kind of anti-terror exerc ise - maybe that's what was happening in your area?

They're trying to track-up all of those newly-paved roads in Bundang.

Used to see that kind of thing quite a bit. Well, not maybe not "quite a bit"... but often enough not to bother starting a whole thread about it on Dave's. Mainly because we didn't have Dave's back then. Or the Internet. Or five clawless opposable digits.

Welcome to Korea, old-stylee, Jimmy!

Just repositioning some resources.
No reason to have any radiation contamination from the upcoming nuclear test. Those tanks need to be kept clean for the upcoming offensive or photo opportunity whichever comes first.

Living in Bucheon I see it about once every 4 to 6 weeks....least I have seen were nearly 20 tanks...counted 40 one night...they travel under Songnae station and you can hear the rumble well before they appear....

pretty cool, don't ya think?!

just moving resources..nothing to get your panties all twisted about
