I have a webpage and I am embarrassed to say that I use expensive Triopd that is very user friendly but totally basic and allows for little creativity. I tried IPower once and canceled because I just could not work it out and it did not perform for me. Now my friends have much luck with IPower and are both highly intelligent. I tried to resign with IPower but they do not like me now. I need something user-friendly but allows for creativity and supports php. I am not quite as adanced in the "Geek World" as my friends think.

Any suggestions on Hosts that is kind and patient with the beginner, but also has great potential for the more challenging aspects of web design?

Thank you

I use www.doteasy.com. They are relatively cheap and have Perl, Mysql, and the rest. If you don't know what you are doing, they also have tutorials for any of the software you might use on your site. They also have wizards for creating counters, email sign-in boxes, contact info, and a lot more.

All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with the service I have gotten from them.

I would recommend my host, but it requires a little bit of extra knowledge over the regular type host. If you want an easy host, then you should look for one that has fantastico installs.

A great place to get advice and check reviews is http://webhostingtalk.com If you have time in late June I could definately help you out. I'll head up to your house and give you some tutorials on setting up your web space and how to better manage everything. Anytime after June 10 is good.
