so lets see now....

Kermo spells it "saekki".
Jack cat insists it is correctly spelled "saeki"..and "kyesaeki".
derek says it is just "seki" as in "shipseki".
Just because says "Gang-a-ji".
Then Billy brobby goes against all precedent by finding a new variation: its actually spelled "gay-sekki" and "kang-aji".

Blind leading the illiterate? Hmmm...I think I'll stick to learning korean from Koreans.

The waygook "I know Korean better than you" sewing circle continues.

I don't understand this bitterness. None of us are arguing with each other, just adding what we know. What happened to you recently? Somebody put down your Korean? Well, if that person wasn't Korean, you shouldn't let bother you like this. And if they were Korean, hey, forget about it anyways.

Who cares if we spell it differently? There's no one standard for Romanization. North and South Korea use different systems. Sure it'd be nice if we could decide on one system, but everybody knows what we're talking about anyways.

And my name is spelled Billy B Robby. not Billy Brobby. Razz

My co-teachers blush a little when I ask them questions like this. I would like to have written it in Hangul (or is it Hangeul?) but my keyboard at home is American.

The Dave's "Your post is lame because I said so" snarkfest continues.

Saeki (however the *beep* you want to romanize it) is an interesting word.

Used against a stranger, it's an insult.

Used among close male friends, it's a common greeting.
