As far as I know the program is run by BCM which is a pretty well known chain of hagwons. I used to work for the main branch and bottom line- they'll work you hard, but they do things legally and won't try to stiff you on pay, or scam you on things like pension. |

Workn'play are legit, but not exactly competent. Make sure you ask them the following questions. All of these things were told to me after the fact, and cost me time and in some instances money.
1. Do I need a medical? (For the Gepik....Yes you do. Had I been told this I could have had it while I still had an insurance card. Instead, I paid out of my own pocket). (no idea if Ansan English Camp requires this)
2. Do I need a criminal records check? (For the GepikYes you do. Again, told this after I was hired, and since I was not in my home country very difficult to do. Much easier if you get the check while you are still at home).
Again, check to see if the English Village requires this.
3. Took me many many emails to find out my address. I needed it to arrange for my belongings to be delivered by the moving company. Their response was that I should not send boxes through the mail if I was not there to pick them up!! This was after telling them repeatedly that a mover was delivering them. As it was I had to wait almost a week after getting back to Korea to get my stuff because the movers were busy.
There were lots of other little things with Workn'play that added up to aggravation for me. However, they are legit, and you could do worse. Be persistent with them, and if you have a question ask.
Oido..................is at the very end of line 4. It's on the coast. I was there once, and it wasn't really memorable. I live on the same subway line, and am about 1+ hours out of downtown Seoul. From Oido you would be looking at close to 2 hours.
17-19 pyong is a large apartment. Trust me, many of us are not that lucky!
One of the teachers in that program was in my masters program. She never said anything negative about the English Camp, but we never really discussed it in great detail. I have finished the program, and am not in touch with her anymore, so I can't really help you there.
Have you asked the recruiter for names of teachers who work there?
Good luck
