The new Gepik contract arrived on my co-teachers desk this morning. I had a quick read, and the only difference that I see is that they have reduced the amount of notice time you have to give to leave from 60 to 30 days.

Hours and vacation still appear to be the same. It does say something about your school changing working hours at their discretion (can't remember the exact wording).

It also appears that there is no pay raise for people renewing. It says something about 200,000W after the second year. Not sure if that is a pay raise or some kind of signing bonus.

The only incentive to renew seems to the fact that these jobs are a step-up from hagwon subsistence.

It sounds all right but I'd still be weary of signing a 200-year contract, though.
