I have a Acer Aspire 1601LC that is 1 1/2 years old and it keeps shutting down after 10 minutes of use. On my C drive there is a capacity of 18.1 and I have 8.7. I have no special programs and only pictures in my D drive. Question is what do you think could be wrong and second where can I get this fixed? I am not great with computers and fairly new to Seoul Itaewon. Addvise would be appreciated.

Two possibilities: You have that virus that shuts down the computer. Download a free virus program like www.avast.com

The second possibility is that your computer is overheating. Some component (maybe a graphics card or something else) is getting to hot and tripping the overheat switch. That will require work at a service center.
