I know it's illegal, so let's speak hypothetically....

Suppose I were to download an xbox game, and it's a bunch of .rar files (1.7 GB worth).

I can't figure out what command I should use in winrar to unpack them into .iso files......

and then would it just be a simple matter of using Qwix and FTPing it to my xbox?

I've searched online, but for some reason, people on this board sometimes speak clearer than random professionals on the internet....which I really appreciate.

thanks

It a series of rar files all you do is pick any random one (I usually take the lowest number .rar00) and extract it to whatever location you want it. I usually extract it to the desktop as it's easiest to find.

I have no idea about the second part of your question - I don't play computer or console games.

If there's a file among the numbered ones (r01, r02, etc.) that ends with .rar, double-click that and WinRAR should find the rest of them and extract the ISO.

You can't just FTP the ISO to your Xbox, though. You can burn it to a DVD (if you've got a burner) and play it off that disc, if you like. If you don't have a DVD burner and need to put the game on your drive, you'll need a tool that can extract the ISO into the component files, then FTP those over into a new directory. (Most likely a subfolder within the "Games" directory on your F: drive.)

Dig around on the various torrent sites and you should be able to find a pack of Xbox tools. I've got a set for Macintosh, so I know there are some out there for the PC.

Yeah....I just want to put it on the xbox harddrive, like the games that came with the xbox when I got it modded...

The finished product....will it be one large .iso file, or many small ones?

It will be both. One large .iso file will become a bunch of "small ones" after you burn it.
