Howdy!

Kapa Brewpub on Yeouido is having a special beer promotion until the 28th of May, 2005.

Every night from May 11th- 28th, 2005, W20,0000 gets you unlimited micro-brew Pilsner, Weizen or Stout from 8 pm- 2 am.

This is a special running this month and this month only! The beer is made in top quality brewing equipment imported specially from Canada and tastes great! We had a Halloween party there last year and the beer went down smooth. The owner is a nice guy and wants to get the word out about his operation to the foreign community in Seoul. Compared to O'Kim's, Platinum, Schwangau or many of the other places in town the beer compares favourably and Kappa's prices can't be beat. Snacks and soft drinks are also on the house for the diligent amongst you.

Location: Kapa Brewpub, Yeouido Stn. Go out Exit 5 (five) and turn right, walk through the building, turn right in the parking lot and go downstairs.

What is the music like? There is nothing worse than
getting sloshed in a boring bar.

I'm going there tonight and will find out more. The owner wants to target hard-drinking foreigners, I am sure he will be quite open to suggestion. Thanks.

Nope, no strings (or anju) attached. It is available, but only if you want it. Snacks like popcorn and so on are free. Oooh. Anyway, it's a great deal. I'll post after I go there tonight. Well, maybe I shouldn't. I'll check back tomorrow morning, then. Come on down, everyone!

Right, well, it's Thursday night and I've slept off most of Wednesday. KAPA is definitely the place to be for cheap beer. Come on down, the beer is great and the owner is a straight up guy with 7.5 tonnes of beer to drink! See you there tomorrow night! By the way, food is not on the house but they have decent fresh-baked pizza, roast chicken and so on.

how were the prices for the side-dishes
I hope I'm not paying 20,000 won for brew and 80,000 for sausage
That would be the "great rip"

No, a large pepperoni pizza was 13,000, sausages I guess were 15.

Is this great deal still going on?
Is Saturday night the last night, or till all the beer's gone (or IS the beer all gone?)
I'd like to make it Sat. night.

Yup, tonight is the last night. I think there is still lots of beer left. Take it home with you in containers, the equipment is being removed tomorrow.

That's a joke, right? I'd hate to see a brewpub close. That would be a step back for all of us who dream of ever seeing a brewpub open in our little provincial towns.
