I used to be a deluxe hotel vacationer until I discovered love hotels. What's your favourite and why? Where is it? How much? I'd love to gather a list of peoples recommendations.

I don't think it's immodest to say I'm a bit of an expert on Love Hotels. Not because I date lots of girls but because my fiance and I like to try out Luxury Love Hotels once or twice a month so I've been to about 15 different ones so far.
They are one of the best things about Korea. You can get an awesome deal in most Love Hotels. I just don't understand why anyone would go to one of those regular hotels, pay 200,000 per night and get a normal room. No jacuzzi and you want 200K!!!! Robbers.
My favorite at the moment is The Lexy at Yeoksam Station. It's a little expensive...60,000-90,000....but the rooms are amazing.
The CF chain of Love Hotels are very good too. The one at Jeonja Station in Bundang is great. Their best rooms have a jacuzzi which is about 7 feet by 4 feet. Huge. You can almost swim in it. |

My favourite is the Tomgi "hotel" in Insadong, beautiful rooms, so many different decors to choose from. if you check in after 11pm it is around $60, but if you check in before then it is $90. well worth the prices, and if you really want to splurge a little the V.I.P room is f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c. |

I call bulls$hit on this one. If you're such a big fan of Love Hotels, where were you in this thread where I was getting shat on by all the lovers, married folk and baby coddlers who scorned and ridiculed me until i was in tears?

It seems that this love affair with Love Hotels is a one-sided relationship huh? When you need them they open their doors to you and NEVER judge you..but when they need you to ante up and defend their honor you conveniently disappear.

Grand Motel in Seongnam is quite nice and cheap. Also when I went there on weekdays they give you they nice huge-ass rooms at regular prices since they're empty otherwise... |

The "love hotels" are geared towards couples sneaking around from either parents or a significant other. They usually have a supply of condoms on the night stand, and I saw a sex toy vending machine in one that I stayed in in Daejeon. |

The biggest difference is that Love hotels give incredible value for money and regular hotels are a rip-off.
Another difference is that most Love hotels don't do anything other than rent you the room. If you want food you have to order out and have it delivered to your room. No services except for a selection of 'fruity' DVD's.
Oh. And Love Hotels have small windows and they put a sign over your cars registration number. Regular hotels don't tend to do that!!!! |

Location location location.
The best ones are in new places you're visiting, really get that travelling feel back...some nice ones in Pusan and Gunsan. Huge TV's, jacuzzi etc. |
