Hi!
I'm finishing my fist year in Korea and have signed another contract with a different hagwon. Is there any way to skip a visit to the consulate stateside and get approval from the immigration office before I leave Korea? Any accurate advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

i'l back you on that...had it happen to me on a number of occasions. new hagwon does mean you have to get a new visa. hence, a trip out of the country. now if you stay at the same hagwon you don't need to leave. a simple trip to your local immigration office will suffice. |
