It's all been done before... And unlike the 114, 432 threads about korean girls vs country x girls, at least the OP was thought provoking and challenges the prevalent negative and culturally superior attitudes shown on this board.

You are most uncultured to consider your culture the culture of choice. Your intelligence is primoridal and you croak like a vulture. Do you like kimchi and think Chindo dogs are imposing? If so, you may stay, though you scare the women and have body odour. Laughing

Then there is a different category of apologists. That is a negative thing, so clearly.

I find that they are very rude and don't have manners... hmm like having the door slammed in your face.. they dont have the decency to look back or extend an arm to keep the door from closing in your face.. especially when you right behind them. thats just plain rude.. i dont care about the staring at us... that i understand, but hell... just use common sense.

Next semester i am going to dedicate teaching a number of classes on "MANNERS".. And "USING COMMON SENSE". Perhaps i will learn why they don't use them. Maybe its just me.. i dunno... But i am confident that in my home country (canada), we would not be so darn rude to them.

In a nutshell... i think there is a common way to treat all people, white, black, orange red... whatever

thats my beef for the day.. Smile

Is it just me, or is everything in Korea worse than it is in the West?

Korean people act stupid and rude, and nobody in my country acts stupid and rude. Also, Korean people speak a language that I don't understand, and that makes them wrong. Furthermore, the way Korean people behave here is different than the way that people from the West behave, and therefore it is wrong.

Why can't everyone--all over the world--be the same? Why must people be different?

Cultural relativism is stupid. Cultural superiority, on the other hand, that's easy. Yay!

My country is the best! Why did I ever come here?

That wasn't even witty trolling. At all. Did you actually think that you were going to make someone think with that nonsense?
Get real.

Thank you very much, BJWD, I appreciate your thoughtful response--especially the compliments! "Clever" and "original!" You flatter me, I blush.
