Hi guys,

I'm packing my suitcase to depart, and am acutely aware of my baggage weight (its an extra �38.60 a kg after the first 20kg!!!) So I'm trying to skimp on weight as much as possible. Considering I won't be packing an iron how vital are coat hangers, if its anything like the uk I'll be able to pick up a load for under a quid. I'm a shirt man, so about 10 shirts wiht coat hangers plus trouser hangers will add up!

You can buy them relatively cheaply at your local traditional markets. Don't bring any hangers - that's silly! Also, chances are that the previous occupant of your place of residence will have left you some. Failing that, ask your school to give you some.
