http://www.btefnet.net/

it's too bad....this was a good one for getting recently released tv shows...i still don't think downloading tv shows that have already been broadcast is that bad...

also I can't access http://www.tvtorrents.com/ anymore - hopefully it's just down for today...

the http://www.blueyoyo seems nice and fast...hopefully it'll start getting more files - which I'll help with, of course... Smile

I've been on their IRC channel today and according to that, the HAVE NOT been sued by the MPAA but I've heard on #TVtorrents that they were. They do say they won't have a website up for a while

HOWEVER!!!! All is not lost (pardon the pun) they are up on IRC and will be putting up torrents that way. Here is how you do it:

get MIrc, its a good IRC program
Log into EfNet
Join #BT
type in "/ctcp BT-Serv !Torrents"
click accept DCC chat, you are now in a new channel
You will now get a list of commands
when you find the torrent you want type "get your.show.101.hdtv-lol.[bt]. torrent"

you will then be able to download your show

you need to be fast given the volume it will log you out in 30 sec of inactivity so it will take a couple of tries to get what you want

Sure you're logging into efnet? Undernet bans connections from the Korean IPs of major providers like KT. It wouldn't be too hard to imagine efnet doing the same. There's a huge problem in Korea with spam and DoS attacks.

I typed in "/ctcp BT-Serv !Torrents", then it says "-> [BT-Serv] !TORRENTS" in the window but I don't get the DCC dialog. What's up with that? This site going offline just about ruined my Sunday. Crying or Very sad

Edit: I think it's members only now.

mininova.org, demoid.com are two i've found

chatter on irc is that there really is nothing good out there now, the MPAA really slammed the good sites. Some pretty upset people out there (myself included)

at least I got my father to tape the season enders to the ones I like and will be sending them over in about a week

filelist.org is another great site, actually the one I depend on now, along with piratebay and demonoid. Filelist has a great selection of movies and some PS2 games and Pc ones too. Tv show selection is fine and overall it's a great site, needs registering though.

Read on another site that BTEFNET is being sued. I am curious if they are suing TIVO as well.
