No. Literally. This isn't a euphemism for some secret bedroom technique known only to Asian women. Unfortunately. My gf inspects my ear canals, whips out her q-tips, and tries to clean them out. I let her do this exactly once. As the old adage goes, don't put anything bigger than your elbow in your ear. Like a lady's hoo hoo, I've always assume our ears were pretty much self cleaning.

Anyway, I thought maybe this was just her but then I swear my Korean boss mentioned her mother tries to clean out her husband's ears (as in my boss's husband's ears).

Weird.

my lovely leaves my ears alone, except for the extraction of the odd hair that grows there.
she seems most fascinated by scraping out the lint from under my toenails with a cuticle pick. after that, a nice fresh toenail trim is in order.

but then, there's also the periodical zit that may appear...i hesitate when her eyes lock on target and her fingernails set for popping it...she prefers to do THAT in public.

No, but I clean out my husband's ears... he hates it if it's in public though.

Sorry, but... hoo-hoos are self cleaning? Is my boo-boo self-cleaning?

Anyway, you gotta clean your ears, imo. Just put some soap on the tip of your pinky and insert while you're in the shower.

I wait till I go and have my hair cut. The "Blue Club" I go to has a vaccum cleaner in the wall that they use to suck everything up after they shave my head. They usually run it over my ears too.

i don't think its just a korean thing. a couple of my exes at home used to do stuff like that. always wanted to make sure my ears were devoid of nasties. always pushed the cuticles on my fingernails back whenever they had the chance.

i never used to notice those kinds of things when i was younger, but now i actually do them once in a while just to keep myself 'looking good'. stay clean shaven. make sure you don't have hairs sticking out of your nostrils. keep the white on your fingernails at a minimum.

yeah, yeah. piss off. they add a couple of notches on the old bedpost, so who's laughing now?

This is unfathomably not only a Korean thing. My Canadian girlfriend will leap at my ears if I'm not quick enough to get away.

That said, my Ex was more keen at attaching my back for any form of lump or bump.

I think this is a female thing - preening and all that. I worked with Rhesus Macaques back a Uni (they're monkeys, I'm a psychologist) and they love preening any and all areas of the body.

Anyone who doubts Evolution should be convinced by watching human women pounce on their men, and then spending the next 2 hours getting ready to go out.

I have noticed social grooming among Korean boys and teens is not uncommon in a classroom environment.

q-tips are not supposed to go in your ears!!! you just push the wax deeper inside your ears if you do that.

I clean out my boyfriends ears, trim, file, and buff his fingernails and toenails, scrub his back, rub in lotion, give foot massages, all sorts of stuff. I love taking care of him...and he loves it too. It's a cute intimate way of showing affection. He draws the line at eyebrow plucking though. So if your girlfriend is trying to get at your ears, she's just trying to love on you...let her do it.

My wife does it all the time. Feels great. I didn't realize it was so common though. I guess I'm not such a very special boy after all.

Yup, hated it. She always got dissapointed when she saw I had been cleaning them myself.
