'Should'? I don't see a reason for that word in the question. I didn't vote because there were no options for my opinion.
The leader of the opposition GNP is a woman. She couldn't do any worse than the incumbent. Why not give her a shot at it? |

I think Park Chung Hee was the father of modern Korea and while he wasnt perfect, he was man enough to do what was needed to get this country kick started.
now his daught Park Guen Hye is steppig up to the bat and if I could I would vote for her without a doubt. Although she may lose some popularity among ths rich since the hanara party past the new changes to dual citizenship.
Plus she might be the best solution right now for dealing with the Jongster and his brinkmanship tactics. |

Don't really know... I don't think being a good ruler is dependant on ones sex. If it'll raise the level of women in the country up to a similar level as men then it'd be a good thing. At the end of the day it really depends what else she stands for. In my opnion Korea has alot of issues that need taking care of, female equality being only one of them. |

And when you look at having a woman in power "raising the position" of women in a society it is rarely the case. Often the things that give the woman the ability to rise to the position are the things that alienate her from other women.

I'm a big fan of Park Geun-hye and would really like to see her lead Korea after the next election. will that happen? I doubt it. For some reason I think she'd step to the side for someone else to run instead.
*does anyone know of any books published about her in english? |
