It was an alright episode. Interesting about Walt. Have they said it is going to go on into another series next year then?

They certainly haven't been progressing the story line the last two shows...except for 2 mysterious statements by walt, nothing is happening...it's nice to know kate's back-story, but I'm more interested in the island..... |

POTENTIAL SPOILERS.
Yeah I'm a geek.
When Jack and Michelle Rodriquez's character mentioned thier seat numbers, I thought back to the "numbers" episode... and yes, their seat numbers are there...
So it probably means that some people in the tail section did survive (I say that because I expect to see more of Michelle).. so Rose will see her husband... maybe he's become one of "the others" |

I downloaded it from here http://www.thepiratebay.com/frame.html if you use bittorrent.....or http://www.torrentspy.com
I just saw it on http://www.blueyoyo.com which is nice, since it's a fast, direct download...
You have to register, login, go to "cafes and clubs", join the tvbox, then download it........if you have problems, check the FAQ about downloading problems in the sticky on that forum |

I disagree... what do you want? them to end the show by answering all the questions..
I thought it was a good finale... no complaints. |

I wanted to see at least a little bit of what was in the hole. Brousseau did nothing for me. I hope she dies. Also happy that Arnzt is no longer with us.
The character development was good (ie. Jin) and I liked how the part with the shipwreck ended.
But, it was still a disappointment. Too many questions left unanswered. |

That part with Arnzt blew me away /sigh
Honestly though, I too wanted more questions answered, I'm guessing we'll have to wait for next season. Why can't they just make a show that starts and ends like... well... life! |

I thought a good number of questions were answered and also more were raised, but hasn't that always been Lost's modus operandi?
**SPOILERS BELOW**
**SPOILERS BELOW**
Arnzt blowing up totally caught me by surprise. Wow. The whole set of scenes with the dynamite being transported had me on the edge of my seat, although when the security system was activated, I thought it was silly that Kate just took off running haphazardly, although she knew she was carrying dynamite.
The revelation of "the others" was somewhat satisfactory, although much is left to be revealed. We know they could leave if they wanted to, but they stay on the island for some sort of reason. We know the grizzled captain is an American, and we know they have ample supplies of gasoline and guns with ammunition.
I wasn't sure about this, but I think we know that Ethan was in cahoots with Rousseau, because the Aussie woman remembered scratching Rousseau on the arm when she was kidnapped in an earlier episode.
The hatch didn't disappoint me, after all, what could we have expected? Showing too much would ruin the premise of the show. We now know that the hatch leads down somewhere and that it is probably fairly old, given the deteriorated state of the ladder. We also know that the security system is probably some sort of complex technology, and that it's really, really scary. The look on Locke's face before it started to drag him away was one of utter fear.
I was angry that the raft journey was wrapped up so quickly. I think Sawyer will probably survive, and that whole scene gave me the creeps, but I don't think it was written particularly well. Jin, Michael, and Sawyer would have known that something was going on as soon as they saw the "others." They wouldn't have popped the flare off so easily, because any ship that would be big enough to rescue them would have tons of lights and be easy to spot from more than a mile away. I just didn't buy it.
Overall...a good episode. There wasn't drastic change and I think it kept with the tempo of the rest of the series. I'll be looking forward to next season. |

on a slightly different note, what time, channel and day is Lost on tv? I thought it was every Saturday night, but there was a big gap between episodes so Im obviously wrong...
(My computer is quite slow to download and I have no idea what episode Im up to anyway!) |

BAH!
After just watching the last episodes of the season...I can only say that the new title of this show should be "Micheal Jackson Island" (It only wants the children). I am not impressed with the events on the raft the last episode and I think that unless the writers can explain all this within the first two episodes next year, I won't be interested in watching it anymore.
It's one thing to create suspense and heighten our senses of intrigue, but its time to go to the next level. We need to understand the meanings and reasonings behind the actions or it simply becomes a waste of time. The next season should be about the battling of the mysterious rather than finding out about it.
On a slight tangent, I think that was the main reason why ST: Enterprise got cancelled. Year 3 was so into producing a year long plot around a one trick pony -- "The Xindi" -- that they began to lose sight of the main reason for any TV shows existence...entertainment.
