Hi there.. Im looking for a website or information about getting some American pen pals for my students. I guess, any speaking country would be good too. All I can find is this site so far:
http://www.eslteachersboard.com/cgi-bin/meeting/index.pl
I love writing snail mail and I had a pen pal once upon a time. I think it would be a great opportunity for getting my kids excited about English!
Id appreciate any tips. Thanx! |

Hi. If they have a decent english level think about contacting the school you went to as a kid. When I was in elementary and middle school I had a couple of teachers who set up a pen pal program for us. It is fun, and a good way to practice your letter writing skills.
I have one class that I am talking to my director about letting me start up a letter writing program with. We shall see how it turns out. |

www.epals.com
My students will be using this website during Summer camp. It seems to be a safe venue for students. |
