a friend told me that 5 years ago when he taught here, he did a sunrise mountain-climb. it was an organized tour/group that (he thinks?) started from either namdaemun or dongdaemun in the middle of the night, and then was a long bus ride and a mountain-hike that, when you reached the top, had an astounding view of the sunrise. i can't find any info in lonely planet. has anyone ever heard of it?
thanks for your help,

try adventurekorea.com. I did a trip with them today to Maisan in Jeolla-do. So beautiful and it's nice to get out of the city for a day. Their trips are reasonable and everyone you meet is really cool. |

You have to hike a mountain at 3 am to watch the sunrise once in your life. Do it sooner than later. |
