Finally figured out how to post a pic. Yay.

Amazing talent wouldn't you say. The artist spent 2 weeks drawing this.

Damn. Yah, i heard about him stopping off there. I'm going to miss him by a month. Saw him twice in Eugene Oregon 10 years ago. Likely the only time i'll ever get the chance. Hmmmm ... c'est la vie.

Do you regularly post on a board about "Social Anxiety Support"?

Come to Ajumma. Tell me your problems. I'll help you feel all warm and moist again.

If that was a trick to join another web forum, I fell for it. You should take some time to read some of those posts on there.

Sorry I have no idea how to "steal" that picture from that site and put it on this one. I'd like to show it to any fans though.

That's mind blowing. Largely because i still remember on the night of his 50th toasting the occasion with friends over dinner while i was still in University. Seems like it was just like yesterday.

Oh-toe-kae !!!

Anyways, this reminds me, does anyone remember hearing the 30th Anniversary concert celebrating his career in Madsion Square Gardens ??? 1992 / 3 ??? An amazingly impressive & historic lineup. Of course both Johnny Cash & George Harrison have passed on now Crying or Very sad

Sinead O'Connor as well. No, she hasn't croaked, but ... i was quite shocked by how BOB DYLAN fans of all people actually BOOED her off the stage in response to her having torn up a picture of PJ Paul 2 on SNL a few weeks earlier.

Bad fans ... bad !!! Kristofferson apparently comforted her off stage.

Ironically, the song she was going to perform was "I Believe in You".

They ask me how I feel
And if my love is real
And how I know I'll make it through.
And they, they look at me and frown,
They'd like to drive me from this town,
They don't want me around
'Cause I believe in you.

i remember that performance. i was too broke to go, though. and yes, i agree that the treatment Sinead O'Connor received was shocking and shameful.

Who else has made as much good music as Dylan?

The Stones maybe?

Just an opinion.

40 years plus and counting....

I'd lost hope for Bob until, 'Love and Theft,' 3 years ago. Amazingly good album. He is one of the few real geniuses of the rock era. In his prime, he was electric!!

Ditto that eamo,

Like I say, not many can make good tunes for 40 years!

How was the show ???

Bet you never saw Johnny Cash & Dylan doing "One Too Many Mornings".

While it's tres cool to see this as historical footage, i gotta say i much prefer Rick Danko & the Band's version! Wink

Saw him and her in concert along with Ry Cooder, Lenny Kravtiz, Midnight Oil, and Jeff Healy.
What a great day that was...

That was 1990, and I have to say it wasn't one of Dylan's better years.
It seemed that he didn't know where he was and could barely perform.
