What's your favorite city in the world?

Mine would have to be Luang Prabang in Laos. Beautiful people, quaint, quiet and architecturally interesting (from the French).

Why? Because it's beautiful there, especially at nighttime. The Red Sea is clean and you can see so many animals in it. Excellent for swimming. Admittedly, it is a bit of a resort city, but it has character. I was there for 9/11 and so the Sinai area is quite strongly imprinted on my memory.

Yeah, I loved snorkeling in the red sea. Just drove through Sharm though, didn't look all that special, that's why I was wondering.

New York.

Friendly people and an amazing bar and club scene. Great, cheap food. The best week of my life was spent in New York (mostly Manhatten).
