How does one measure such things? In pyung? What's the Korean spelling? |
1  (pyung/pyeong) = 3.3 square metres (a square just over 1.8m per side).
3  = 9.9 square metres (a square just over 3m per side) |

3 pyung? Are you sure? Do you live in a refridgerator box? |
Knowing what a pyeong actually is now, I'd say I live in a 4.5 pyeong apt. I consider it liveable for a year. |

Thanks for all the replies. It helps a lot. A follow-up question, can anybody suggest a good realtor in Gangnam that you , or someone you know, have used? THanks. |

There are no good realtors in Gangnam. They're all sharks. I've used one but I couldn't recommend you to him. He showed us 4 apts which were completely wrong for us despite being told exactly what we wanted beforehand. Just wasting our time.
BTW. They try to charge more than is legally allowed. There is a cap on what size of fee they can charge you. It's calculated by using the value of the place you're renting. |
