The Chosun Ilbo says there is some kind of foreign worker festival in front of City Hall on Sunday the 6th. We werent invited. Maybe its a big ploy to round up foreign workers in one place so catching them is easier.

Its some kind of cultural appreciation festival. The main event is a wedding were a man from Nepal and a Korean woman will get married.

That's the 2005 Migrants' Arirang, I believe.

I think they had a sports event somewhere recently too as part of that.

I stumbled upon it...quite accidentally actually. Walked around and had a great time. There were henna tatoos gained, water poured on me for luck and great dancing and food. One thing that was very amusing...all the Thailanders and Sri Lankens were constantly stopping us and asking us to join them in their pictures. They must have loved the blonde hair blue-eyed foreigners.
It was a great time and a great atmosphere.

Wow... couldn't be a better target for terrorists to bomb in Seoul.

Sounds like fun, otherwise.

Ah yes, what a fine target: a bit like Itaewon, huh, Gollum? Rolling Eyes
