| Everyone is talking about it. What would you have done if you were on that train and witnessed it? When an ajumma told her to clean up the mess, the dog poo girl basically told her to f-off. After 4 subway stops the dog poo girl eventually got off, and a kindly old man then proceded to wipe the poo off the floor. The events were all captured on a phone cam. | One woman with one dog doesn't pick up the dog poop and it becomes the subject of a national discussion? A mild miff maybe is in order. Hmmmm. Methinks priorities have gone awry. |

What caught my eye was this in the KT. When was the last time you read the word "poo" (meaning just that) on the op-ed page of a serious newspaper?
Korea is one of the global leaders in IT industry, but the nation��s awareness of ethics falls short of its technological reputation. Nothing shows this better than the ongoing controversy about the cyber terror against the "dog excrement girl." The young woman has become the hottest target on the Korean websites since she reportedly got off a subway car without cleaning up her pet��s poo. The Internet has turned what could have ended just as a personal rebuke into a national bashing.

| Hmm...Well, okay. How many of the people making a fuss out of this were coached by their moms when they were toddlers to use the sidewalk as a toilet? How many of them are students who spit in the classrooms and the halls of their university? How many of them have vomited on the sidewalk after drinking too much soju? Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. |
