Of my own free will? Portland Or or rural WA. To get my old job back... likely New Mexico.

Tiger, I understand that you've not been back in Korea very long yet and you've rather recently started at a new job. I know from your posts that you're big on travelling and seeing the world. But this is the sort of thread topic I'd sooner expect from someone who's been here, oh, say 4~5 years solid and was just itching to leave, or at least was seriously contemplating it. Do you feel that itch to leave, too? And if you don't mind, why so soon after your return?

In my home country, I would go to the only two places worth going anywhere:

The hwajangsil

and

The bar!

Here's a picture of my favourite tipple, just to get you all in the mood:

and here's me outside my local drinking establishment:

What makes you sexy is being a Korean ajumma and an African siren at the same time.

You combine both of my fantasies. Korean cleaning woman and African cleaning woman at the same time!!

Hey!~! More Toilet Duck where it's needed please??!!

Anywhere the duck isn't going.

Some place where there is actually snow. This lack of the white stuff is really starting to get to me. Maybe Calgary.

You want it to snow during summer?

I also miss the snow. I'm from Edmonton but haven't been home for more than a few weeks (around xmas) over winter for about 5 years. Skipping winter just messes with my head so much. I honestly, need to stop and think about what time of year it is for several minutes. I constantly feel like it's late summer or early fall. 'Winter must be coming soon, it just must be.'

Also it never snowed during the summer unless you count May or September, which actually was depressing.

It would be kind of cool, wouldn't it?

I haven't been back to Canada to enjoy a real winter since '99. Now, if I were somewhere other than Seoul I might still get to enjoy winter somewhat, but not here. It seems every place in Korea other than Seoul got good dumps last winter - even Jeju for crying out loud!
