Where are they all gone? Sad

I've been looking on the net for in and around Suwon and using lots of websites like worknplay, davesesl, englishspectrum, hiteacher ... etc but no luck. I've emailed a lot of agencies as well.

Are there any out there? I'm getting lots of offers for kids but I taught mostly adults before so I want to stick with them. I saw one for adults and uni students yesterday but when I sent an email I was told that it was gone already and it was only posted yesterday. Shocked

I don't know whether to go with adults (split shift but easier to teach and I have loads of materials to use) or kids (block shift, lots of jobs out there, not much preparation involved but you might go crazy!!). I wouldn't mind doing a mix of both but why is it so hard to find one? At least my tourist visa is finished in August so I have some time left.

Adult teaching jobs have always been pretty scarce I think, and quickly snapped up in any case.

Nowadays i reckon hagwons are finally in serious trouble- people are opting for the vast numbers of public school jobs on offer, the uni academies, and so on. the kiddie hagwons days may be numbered.

I'm not so sure people are opting for public school jobs in great numbers. There seems to be many more openings than applicants.

Thank you, ajuma. That has been bothering me for two days. [I didn't want to say anything because I thought, Well, maybe this is one of those British variations and if I say something I'll get jumped on for not knowing 'proper' English.]
