You need to watch out for the poisonous variety of "ggetnip", which looks exactly like the regular kind. Tastes just like it, too... until that 5th leaf. That's were all the poison's stored. Just make sure you avoid the deadly 5th leaf, or it really will be the End of the World for you.

it's not the gget-nip i'd worry about if i were you...

Dry seeds should be well cooked in two changes of water before eating. Raw dry seeds are poisonous and can cause vomiting, labored breathing, and even convulsions and unconsciousness.

just imagine what my mutant beans are capable of.

And hey! Hey, hey, hey! Since Shawner88's homeless and shoeless these days, now's the time for you to strike at the heart of bloggerdom (dumb) with .... that's right!

The Big-Ass Bean Boy Blog!

Trust me, it's these concepts that really go places. Just like that bean you planted. I'm saying trust me, EoTW. There are tens of thousands of people -- much like the ones who've posted here -- just sitting there in dreary little offices, staring out at the smog and the cars and the asphalt and the concrete and the ajosshi pissing on the parked car and Guru pissing from his treehouse on that ajosshi. And these poor, lost people -- they're wondering if life holds nothing more than another Paris Baguette crap sandwich lunch by themselves (because they simply WILL NOT be arm-twisted into YET ANOTHER forced feeding of fishhead stew).

They NEED the BEAN BLOG!!!

You know it, I know it, and they won't be put off! They want to know it all, and they want YOU to spoonfeed them!

-- daily growth charts
-- watering & feeding schedules
-- pest control problems and cures
-- status reports on the Coke & OB empties

and most of all, Pix, PIX, PIX!!!!

Everyone's got a blog, but who reads them? This, on the other hand is a blog with a difference. I'm telling you, this idea has pet rock written all over it, EoTW!

if there's one thing i know less about than gardening, it's blogs. as much as i've seen the word lately, i'm still not entirely sure what it means. fill me in on what it is and how i can make one, and i'll be all over a bean blog.

A blog is like your online journal. You can record interesting things that happen in your life or you can make it less personal and more about your what's happening in the news. People read what you've written and can leave comments, or you can disable the comments section. With most blogs you can archive your posts and people can read what was happening to you months ago if they have never read yours before. You can also post pictures.

Here's mine, so you can see how they work Cool

Petite Syrah

You can set yours up for free. There are many different sites you can use. Some of the most well-known ones are

Blogger and Live Journal

PM if you have any more quesetions. Very Happy
