I went to the local pharmacy just to see if there was a chance that Retin-A or some such thing is available over the counter here. The girl who helped me told me I'd need to go to a hospital/clinic/doctor's office [to get a prescription] for that. So I asked her (in terrible Korean; I hadn't anticipated continuing the conversation past that) what was available OTC. She gave me a large handful of samples of a facial wash and a medicated ointment. I didn't even buy anything, and she sent me on my way with all these freebies! I will go there for EVERYTHING now!
The ointment she gave me is called "A CLEAR oint." Is anyone familiar with this product? It smells like it is benzoyl peroxide-based, but I'm not sure. These are the active ingredients:

Any ideas? |

I found this awesome English homepage for the company, but it doesn't include the product I have.

Don't sweat it-- that whitening business is bunk. |

OiGirl.. go to big names like Lancome or Chanel.. they have stuff with Retin-A in. I did my research when I became pregnant last year... no good to have the stuff on your skin when you are preggo (not that you are..) because it gets absorbed into the skin and passes to the baby through blood. |
