| For safety's sake, I'd tell the truth on contact information for your parents. That could be useful information for the school to have in an emergency. The rest of it should be regarded as an opportunity for developing your creativity. |

6 pages on "my stool"... I'd have trouble squeezing that one out - though I'd work it out with a pencil maybe
Try telling them you never looked |

You could have just brought them the stool in a cup.
I had to do that to get employed in a hospital kitchen...talk about having a fun thing to carry in your car |

Yes, now please step over here to the polygraph... That's it, just rest your hand upon the pad. Relax and breath naturally. Now then, tell us alllll about that long weekend in Bangkok, and don't leave out any of the specifics or you're fired!
Uh-oh... there seems to be some little _discrepancy_ here. Our operatives in your country have confirmed that your brother no longer resides at the address you've given us. You know you are required to inform us within two weeks of his change of address. Please do not disappoint us like this again.
We have followed the map to your home that you gave us, but it led to a manufacturer of artificial limbs. Ha ha, very funny. We will be sending one of our staff to accompany you home today, and he will draw the map for us. [/silliness]

LMAO!!!! Yeah but it seems like one of those things here where they're probably asking you for that information but they'll never take the time to do anything with it... |

This is the way to go.
Years back at our uni. our middle management wanted us to supply house keys. Of course, I asked why...they said for 'emergency.' Fair enough, but 'what constitutes emergency?' I ask....
No response.
My response, ok...I'll drop off a key tomorrow.
<<Rewind>> Our university had the habit of walking in and about our apartments while we were in class for no reason and never informed us (we had neighbors tell us of the visits. Once one of the schmucks went into a buddy's apt. when the univ. worker KNEW the instructor would be in school...he didn't know the instructor had a live-in girlfriend. To say the least she screamed at the putz.
<<Fast-forward>> So this was all in the back of my mind when they were asking for keys. I guess they were asking because we all recently ("surreptitiously") changed our locks to thwart this...this...crap.
So I drew up a mini-rules/contract as to how and when they could enter my premises. The other instructors did the same.
Sure enough, not more than a few days later the mid-director pulls to the side and asks if I gave them the right key...but in a way she thought was sly. I replied that I had indeed given her the real key and asked why she asked.
'Just because.'
'Ok, see you later.'
I think she drew blood by biting her lip as she couldn't tell me that they knew the key was wrong...as they'd only know that if they INTENTIONALLY tried to go in without me knowing. Thankfully my girlfriend was home and heard them trying to get in so I was expecting this question.
Never bothered us again (about the keys).
