Anyone else have one? I have tried everything to get the smell to go away, to no avail.
I scrub it every day, I have blue pucks in the toilet. I put my fan in the door to air it out after showers. nothing works!
It must e in the pipes. It is such a horrible smell. How do i fix it? I am not sure I can live with this smell any longer! |

I do. I'm going to try washing the cloth part of the mop to see what that will do. As for your case, maybe there is some kind of scented korean version of Drain-O that you can pour down the pipes to make it smell better. |

If it is a sewer gas smell you are talking about, set a lit candle in there. That will take care of it in a few minutes. |

Maybe there aren't any "traps" in the drain pipes; especially the one in the floor.
Try getting plugs for the bathtub, sink and floor.
Plastic water bottles and plastic bags will work in a pinch. |

I pour bleach down the drains whenever it starts to stink....and/or light some incense. |

Why not just buy a new mop. There are those foam mops that do the trick for about 15k. They are the ones like gas station squeegy. |

No "maybe" about it, I'm afraid. And this, THIS is the time of year you'll know whether your place has that problem or not. If it makes you feel any better, million-dollar apartments and houses here smell just as bad. I've been to parties in homes costing 9~13 mil./month rent -- some absolute showplaces -- and you talk about the proverbial 'skunk at the garden party'. Little children running around, lacking the tact of their diplomat parents and blurting out in front of the hosts: "Mommy, mommy! I think this house is farting!" |

Pouring chemicals down your drain doesn't really help. The smell is coming up your pipe from the main pipe below. You would need a swimming pool of bleach to make a difference to a smelly old waste water pipe.
All you can do is put covers over your drains like MJ roach says. Take them off when you shower etc. |
